Epicor ERP 10 Achieves TEC Certified Status
April 6, 2015 - Epicor Software announced that ERP version 10 has achieved certification by Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC) for discrete manufacturing ERP, mixed-mode manufacturing ERP, engineer-to-order manufacturing ERP, SMB manufacturing ERP, and ERP for distribution industries, as well as financial packages, and accounting and small business software spaces.
"Epicor has been helping midmarket manufacturers address business challenges and seize new opportunities for more than 40 years with tens of thousands of plants. We focus on offering end-to-end, industry-specific solutions, and because we know that no two manufacturers are the same, we seek to understand how our customers manufacture within each of their particular industries to meet their unique requirements," says Dick Schultz, director, product marketing, Epicor. "Achieving TEC Certification validates the rich out-of-the-box feature sets in Epicor ERP that have been designed specifically to support our customers' various manufacturing processes."
Based on TEC's ERP software comparison data, Epicor is one of the richest and most complete manufacturing ERP products, and the same can be said for the realm of financial applications and solutions for small business.1 "We believe that the overall high support level and the advantages of flexibility and multiple deployment options give Epicor ERP version 10 a strong competitive edge," said Aleksey Osintsev, senior ERP analyst, Technology Evaluation Centers.
Epicor ERP 10 introduces a number of new applications and technologies that will transform the way companies operate. The visionary blend of rich global functionality is built on agile technology that eliminates complexity to make ERP easier to use, more collaborative and more responsive than ever before, while supporting today's business imperatives: social collaboration, deployment flexibility, accelerated performance and broad device accessibility.
At the foundation of Epicor ERP 10 is the powerful next-generation Epicor ICE 3 Business Architecture that drives increased performance, scalability, interoperability and ease of use, while reducing the cost and complexity of doing business leveraging a 100% Microsoft technology stack.
With a streamlined experience across multiple devices and expanded deployment choices -- on premises, cloud or managed service -- Epicor ERP 10 delivers a consistent experience, delivered in a single solution.

About TEC Certification
TEC Certification is an independent analyst product review that requires a software solution provider to demonstrate its product(s) features and capabilities to a TEC research analyst. This consists of a scripted product demonstration where the TEC analyst can review features such as user experience and interface, workflow and pertinent functionality. In addition, the solution provider must complete a detailed functionality questionnaire so that TEC can benchmark the product against its known benchmarks. All products that complete the certification program bear the "TEC Certified Product" seal.
