Four China shows stage in October

September 4, 2015 - Deutsche Messe stages its four industrial fairs: PTC ASIA, CeMAT ASIA, ComVac ASIA, and Industrial Supply ASIA from 27 to 30 October 2015.

Wolfgang Pech, senior vice president at Deutsche Messe, explains: “Chinese manufacturers are under extreme pressure to improve quality and efficiency before they lose out to upcoming low-cost producers in Asia and advanced powers like Germany and the U.S. Whether or not ‘Made in China 2025’ ultimately succeeds depends on how well and how fast Chinese industry adopts smart manufacturing principles. Our fairs in Shanghai are a smart manufacturing showcase and thus the best place for companies that provide products and services for integrated industry to meet new customers in China.”

PTC ASIA is Asia’s leading event for power transmission, motion control and fluid power. The fair features a complete hall (N2) dedicated to smart manufacturing as well as a smart manufacturing forum with programs organized by Unity and the German Engineering Federation (VDMA). Globally recognized exhibitors include Argo-Hytos, Bonfiglioli, ExxonMobil, HAWE Hydraulik, Lenze, NORD Drivesystems, SEW-EURODRIVE, Schaeffler, Siemens, SKF, and Timken. Germany, Italy, South Korea, and Taiwan are sponsoring country pavilions.

CeMAT ASIA, the continent’s biggest and most influential trade fair for intralogistics, continues the smart manufacturing theme with a focus on integrated systems. Among the 460 exhibitors at CeMAT ASIA are leading international logistics-systems providers such as Dematic, Eisenmann, Knapp, SSI Schäfer, Swisslog, and Vanderlande as well as major fork-lift truck manufacturers Jungheinrich and Linde Material Handling. Hall W3 is home to Chinese logistics companies, with industry heavyweights such as Kunming Shipbuilding Equipment Corporation (KSEC) and the Beijing Materials Research Institute demonstrating how fully-automated supply chains work.

CeMAT ASIA also features the Logistics Robots Pavilion for industrial robots in materials handling; the CeMAT ASIA Innovation Salon, which includes keynotes, live demonstrations and discussions about “Smart Supply Chain Solutions”; and the AGV Pavilion for automatic guided vehicles. CeMAT ASIA covers 47,000 square meters.

Compressed air and vacuum technologies also play an important role in smart manufacturing, because they can significantly increase energy efficiency. For this reason ComVac ASIA is located directly next to PTC’s smart manufacturing hall. So far 149 companies have signed up to exhibit, including Bauer Compressors, Fusheng, Ingersoll Rand, Klüber Lubrication, Kobelco, and MANN + HUMMEL. ComVac ASIA accounts for 12,500 square meters.

Industrial Supply ASIA has been moved to Hall N4, an optimal location where its exhibitors – suppliers of parts, components, materials and subcontracting services – can directly meet with PTC’s suppliers of gears, bearings, couplings, fasteners, and springs. An Industrial Supply matchmaking forum will help buyers find the correct suppliers. Currently, 1,399 companies have registered to exhibit at PTC ASIA and Industrial Supply ASIA. Display area for the two events is 110,000 square meters.

PTC ASIA, CeMAT ASIA, ComVac ASIA and Industrial Supply ASIA are organized by Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd., Deutsche Messe’s subsidiary in China. The company expects approximately 80,000 visitors in 2015.
