Hellma acquires Axiom Analytical
March 6, 2016 - The Hellma Group will acquire the assets of Axiom Analytical Inc. This acquisition will form the world’s leading supplier of optical precision modules for online spectroscopy in the field of process industries.
“This transaction will represent an important milestone within our company’s history which aims at further developing our market shares by solutions that fit our customers‘ applications accurately. Moreover, it will offer great potential for more innovative products for the analytics business sector” explains Lutz Mayer, CEO of the Hellma Holding GmbH.
Holm Kändler, President of the newly established Hellma Axiom Inc. adds “With the Axiom Analytical acquisition we will ensure profitability in the industrial sector of the Hellma Group and in addition will focus more on industrial trends such as the increasing automation and growing quality requirements.”
Dr. Mike Doyle co-founder of Axiom Analytical Inc. said “The Hellma Group and Axiom Analytical are a perfect match. The combination will enable on the one hand the strategic expansion of our business and the continuation of the past decades’ successful activities. On the other hand, customers all over the world will now have access to products and know-how from the two strongest companies within this market. This is truly unique and will create major synergies.”
Over the past years, the Hellma Group has been able to implement several transactions successfully. Based on the past experience, a team of representatives from both companies will control this integration process again this time. The two founders of Axiom Analytical Inc. Norm Jennings and Dr. Mike Doyle will work as consultants for the newly established Hellma Axiom Inc. The company location in Tustin, CA remains unchanged. Support and assistance for customers and suppliers will be provided from there.
