IPS announces opening of Corpus Christi, Texas service center

May 17, 2017 – Integrated Power Services (IPS), a repairer of electric motors, generators and mechanical power transmission components, has expanded its operations with a service center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
A grand opening event was held May 11, beginning at 1:30 p.m. The event included a tour of the facility detailing current and future services, as well as a growth plan for the region.
The IPS Corpus Christi Service Center is one of seven IPS service centers supporting industry in the Gulf Coast Region including Houston, TX, Beaumont, TX, Sulphur, LA, Shreveport, LA, Birmingham, AL and Dothan, AL. IPS Corpus Christi offers managed storage of critical rotating assets, distribution and field services, and serves as a branch to the IPS Houston facility. Climate controlled industrial storage includes scheduled mechanical and electrical testing, distribution of several OEM-partner products, as well as an inventory of new critical replacement motors. Aprogram of on-site field services, including removal/installation, laser alignments, vibration analysis, balancing, PdMA electrical testing, variable frequency drive commissioning and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, rounds out the current lineup of services offered.
The Corpus Christi facility brings IPS to 27 locations across North America. The network of locations provides engineering, repair services, field services, product sales, manufacturing and asset storage.
