ISA releases iOS app to calculate process variables and loop signals

March 15, 2017 - Solving complex process variable and loop signal calculations can leave you scratching your head and reaching for your old algebra books—wasting a lot of time and brainpower that you could be using to get your job done. That’s why ISA has developed a  app for iOS users to help users solve for a process variable or its associated loop signal .

The tool is at users' fingertips on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, and it allows the user to choose from a variety of engineering units (like pressure, temperature, level, or flow) and process signals (like 4–20 mA or 1–5 VDC) for the calculations. If the user has a known process variable and a known loop signal, they can use this app to solve for an unknown of any other process variable or loop signal within range.

Learn more here or download the app for FREE today—just search for Loop Signal and PV Tool on iTunes— it will cost US $1.99 as of 1 April.
