ABB publishes ProcessMaster magmeters leaflet

February 17, 2016 -- ABB’s Measurement & Analytics business published a twelve-page leaflet that describes how the company's ProcessMaster electromagnetic flowmeter serves the demanding applications of the oil and gas industry. The brochure lists the various oil and gas applications where ProcessMaster magmeters can effectively contribute. Mentioned are slurries, fluid mixtures, injection fluids, and wastewater. ProcessMaster magmeters also work well under harsh conditions involving heat, moisture, vibration, and explosive and corrosive atmospheres.
The leaflet continues with the various attributes designed into this magmeter that benefit the oil and gas industry. Included are a user-friendly interface and a powerful, flexible transmitter. The interface permits quick and simple data entry for all process parameters. The transmitter employs a common electronics cartridge for all ProcessMaster models, minimizing inventory costs and spare parts. The leaflet also covers benefits that result from the flowmeter's superior signal noise filtering technology. These include tighter controls on drill bit operations and fracking fluid blending.
Lastly, two separate pages provide a grid of ProcessMaster specifications for onshore and offshore applications. To download a PDF of the leaflet "Electromagnetic flowmeter ProcessMaster: The perfect fit for the oil and gas industry," please use this link:
