AbraxSys Announced Operating Temperature Performance Changes to Both its LCD Lines and its Sunlight Readable Lines

AbraxSys announced today the release of a  series of very wide operational temperature LCD models, both for indoor and outdoor usage. AbraxSys’ industrial, marine and military grade products have been engineered to withstand long operating hours with thermal characteristics considerations built into the overall design for proper heat dissipation.

As devices for displaying various types of information and images in many diverse environments, customers are demanding greater sophistication and diversity from LCD displays. To meet the growing demand for higher image quality, greater energy efficiency, and improved environmental performance such as greater resistance to extreme operational temperature, AbraxSys selects only the highest quality LCD modules. The results are seen in image reproduction, vivid images in any ambient light environment, wider viewing angles, greater color gamut and much, much more.

Harsh real-world applications that are designed for vehicles or rugged outdoor applications have special demands. Extreme environmental conditions – operation in high or low temperatures, thermal shock and/or vibration, high humidity, or startups in low temperature – account for most of these demands. Since system failures often result in high costs, the system must be very reliable under every possible operating condition, and it must provide the highest level of failure tolerance.
