Jervis Webb to supply AGVs to Ariens
April 7, 2016 –Wisconsin Lift Truck, a reseller for Jervis B. Webb, announced today a project with Ariens providing Webb’s SmartCart Automatic Guided Cart (AGC). Jervis B. Webb Company is a subsidiary of Daifuku North America Holding Company and a provider of material handling solutions.
The SmartCart AGC assembly system, which is integrated with Ariens Company’s production assembly equipment has increased production of Ariens IKON X/Gravely ZT X riding mowers by 64 percent. With this upgrade, Ariens Company will have seven assembly stations that provide a stable and accurate production flow coupled with real-time productivity tracking. The SmartCart AGC system, joined with Ariens special assembly fixtures, allows Ariens to improve employee ergonomics with adjustable height controls and raise operator efficiency.
