Schneider Electric partners with Vericlave to enhance cybersecurity solutions

March 18, 2019 – Schneider Electric has entered into a global partnership with Vericlave, a cybersecurity technology provider. Under the terms of the agreement, Schneider Electric will provide Vericlave’s encryption technology to secure and protect its customers’ critical IT and OT systems from the risk of cyberattack.
Vericlave’s intrusion-prevention system overlays a zero-trust stealth model at the network perimeter and within existing infrastructure to provide a secure communication tunnel between sites and to extend layers of defense across an enterprise. The plug-and-play solution has been developed and tested by the United States Department of Defense, United States Intelligence Community and in the critical infrastructure, finance, healthcare and retail markets for more than 20 years.
The partnership combines Vericlave’s technology with Schneider Electric’s EcoStructure architecture and platform to provide a multi-layered approach that includes cybersecurity solutions, services and expertise to help industrial organizations secure their operations and strengthen their cyber posture.
EcoStruxure is Schneider Electric’s open, interoperable, IoT-enabled system architecture and platform. EcoStruxure works to deliver value around safety, reliability, efficiency, sustainability and connectivity for customers. This includes Connected Products, Edge Control, Apps, Analytics, and Services. EcoStruxure has been deployed in 480,000+ sites, with the support of 20,000+ system integrators and developers, connecting over 1.6 million assets under management through 40+ digital services.
Vericlave’s solution enables industrial end users to securely transfer data between their upstream and downstream operations, meaning communication across the enterprise becomes just as secure as it would be if it were within the control room itself.
