The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) announced Eaton's Molly Murphy as 2019 Women in Industry Trailblazer Award recipient

July 16, 2019 - The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) announced Molly Murphy, of Eaton, as the 2019 Women in Industry Trailblazer Award recipient. Murphy, Eaton’s Senior Vice President of Sales in North America, was recognized during the Women in Industry Forum June 25-27 in Nashville, TN.
The award honors Murphy for her outstanding and dedicated service to NAED, the Women in Industry group, and the electrical distribution industry at large. Murphy has contributed greatly to the group throughout her career by mentoring many women and presenting at NAED events.
Murphy joined Eaton, a power management company, in 1997 and currently leads the company’s North American sales organization for its $13 billion electrical business. Murphy has more than two decades of experience in sales, marketing and training roles in the electrical industry. Prior to Eaton, she was a professor and director of the Center for Family Business at Marquette University; and a marketing director for CPM Development Corporation.
Murphy holds a Master of Business Administration degree, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations from Gonzaga University.
