Savigent named as Pure-Play Vendor in Gartner's MES Software Market Guide

July 7, 2016 - Savigent Software, Inc., a company specializing in event-driven manufacturing operations management software, has been named a Representative Vendor in the Pure-Play MES vendor class category in the Market Guide for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Software by Gartner, the world’s leading information technology research and advisory company. The Market Guide, released on June 21, 2016, assesses the state of the MES market and makes recommendations for manufacturing executives pursuing the deployment of MES applications.
The Gartner report found that “companies successfully implementing MES, view MES as an enterprise solution, not just something for individual plant performance improvement.” The report advises: “When evaluating MES systems, look at configurability, flexibility and ease of integration (and not just ERP integration).”
