Deutsche Messe announces expansion of Chinese trade fair presence

May 24, 2019 - For almost 13 years, Deutsche Messe has cooperated with the Donghao Lansheng Group to organize industrial fairs in China, including the China International Industry Fair (CIIF), a trade fair brand in China. On 7 May 2019 in Shanghai, the two partners agreed to extend the cooperation for another 10 years and strategically expand it. Beginning in 2020, they will stage two new industrial fairs in China: the South China International Industry Fair (SCIIF) in Shenzhen in June and the Chengdu International Industry Fair (CdIIF) in April. In addition, the partners will develop further industrial events in China.

Together we are promoting the transformation and further modernization of China’s manufacturing sector,” said Arno Reich, Senior Vice President Industry, Energy, Logistics at Deutsche Messe. “

The Donghao Lansheng Group is a state-owned enterprise active in the fields of human resources services, convention and trade fair management, and international trade. East Best Shanghai, the congress and exhibition group of Donghao Lansheng, operates exhibition venues such as the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center and the National Convention and Exhibition Center and stages events such as the China International Industry Fair, the China International Technology Fair, the East China Fair, and APPPEXPO.

East Best Shanghai organizes the South China International Industry Fair and the Chengdu International Industry Fair in cooperation with Hannover Milano Fairs China, Deutsche Messe’s subsidiary in China. Hannover Milano Fairs China organizes more than 20 trade fairs in China annually for industries such as automotive, automation, electric and mechanical engineering, IT, logistics, metal production, and metalworking as well as flooring, consumer goods and tourism.
