ABB publishes leaflet on new CoriolisMaster mass flowmeters

September 14, 2012 - Eight-page leaflet from ABB summarizes the properties and benefits of the company's new CoriolisMaster FCB330/350 mass flowmeters for liquids and gases. According to the leaflet, the new flowmeters provide unmatched measurement accuracies and easy installation and handling in a compact, space-saving design. Aside from mass and volumetric flow rates, the new meters also measure fluid densities, temperatures, and concentrations.

The leaflet notes additional benefits, such as low pressure drop, no moving parts (low maintenance), self-draining installations, and HART communications. No upstream and downstream flow profiling is necessary, which saves space and piping requirements. The meter's high accuracies range from 0.1% to 0.5% of reading, depending on the model and fluid measured (liquid or gas). Integrated DensiMass software enables CoriolisMaster to perform direct Brix measurements and calculations of Net-Oil or temperature standardized concentration. The leaflet concludes by tabulating important product data at a glance.
