July 31, 2014 - Acura Embedded Systems introduces PowerBrick 6.0, which has an Intel HD Graphics 5000 accelerating video chip, two fast SSD hard drives with Removable Dual SATA Storage slots and up to 16 GB memory.

Without fan and heater inside, PowerBrick 6.0 was designed based on ML-STD-810F standard for heavy industrial field mobile vehicular applications such as Oil, Gas and Mining trucks or seaport cranes even petroleum platform helicopter services. It is built to withstand extreme heat, vibration and humidity by using a system that employs a rugged aluminum alloy chassis and vibration dampening suspension externally and on the hard drive.  

PowerBrick 6.0 comes loaded with two fast SSD hard drives with Removable Dual Hot Swappable SATA Storage which has RAID feature.  The architecture is modular which allows for easy upgrading and expansions.

PowerBrick 6.0 also utilizes non-proprietary connections so that any combination of external equipment can easily interface with your mobile data terminal.
