Axiomtek announces the MPC102-845 medical-grade panel PC

December 22, 2017 - Axiomtek introduced its EN 60601-1 certified 10.4” medical-grade panel PC, the MPC102-845. This medical touch panel computer is powered by the Intel Celeron processor N3060 with fanless operation. It adopts a 10.4-inch XGA TFT LCD display with resistive touchscreen and 350 nits brightness. Certified for medical applications, the MPC102-845 is designed to be integrated with nursing carts and medical devices as a point-of-care terminal or infotainment terminal.

The 10.4-inch MPC102-845 can withstand temperature ranges from 0°C to +45°C and up to 2G vibration. Its IP65-rated spill/dust-resistant front bezel can protect it from outside liquid in hospitals. This durable medical panel PC offers multiple I/O interfaces including one RS-232 port, one RS-232/422/485 port, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, and one audio (Line-out). There is also an external switch for AT/ATX mode selection. One 204-pin DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM socket with up to 8 GB system memory is available. Additionally, the panel system provides two PCI Express Mini Card slots for RFID, 3G, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection, allowing real-time patient data checking and processing. For storage, it features one 2.5” SATA HDD and one mSATA.

The fanless MPC102-845 provides choices of two types of power input: a medical grade AC/DC power adapter with screw type connector and a DC power input with terminal block connector. Users can disable or enable the touchscreen function with an on/off single-touch button on front panel. It also supports panel mount, wall mount, VESA arm and desktop stand. OS support includes Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7, WES 7 and WE8S.

Axiomtek’s EN 60601-1 certified fanless medical touch panel PC, the MPC102-845 is going to be available in January, 2018.
