Axiomtek introduces NA345R network security appliance

June 8, 2017 - Axiomtek introduced the NA345R, its 1U rackmount network appliance supporting the Intel Celeron processor N3350 or the Intel Atom x5-E3940 processor (formally codename: Apollo Lake). The network security platform features six Gigabit Ethernet ports using Intel i211 Ethernet controller, and one pair of LAN bypass function. It comes with one DDR3L-1866 SO-DIMM slot with up to 8GB non-ECC memory. Optionally, one 2.5-inch SATA3 HDD and one mSATA are available for storage.

To keep system running smoothly, the six-port 1U rackmount network appliance is equipped with a built-in watchdog timer which features 255 levels for system reset and 7 levels for LAN bypass. Furthermore, it comes with one HDMI port for high definition display, two USB 3.0 ports for external devices, one console port for device network management, and six RJ-45 Gigabit LAN ports for network connections. The LED indicators of the network security platform are available for monitoring of power, HD, and LAN activity. Finally, the quad-core Intel Apollo Lake-based network appliance is compliant with Win10 and Linux.
