C-Flex announces Super Plastic Torsional Damping Coupling

December 2, 2014 - C-Flex releases Super Plastic Torsional Damping Coupling that stabilizes high precision systems by dampening transient torque variations. The coupling handles high torque loads with zero backlash. The stabilizing advantage offered by the super plastic version of the C-Flex coupling is ideal for extremely accurate positioning in industries such as medical, packaging, semiconductor and more.

C-Flex couplings have been proven through hours of on-site testing to accommodate high torsional stiffness with large angular, axial and parallel offset capacity. The standard C-Flex Super Plastic flexible coupling is made up of two high strength aluminum ends with glass impregnated polyamide flexures. They require no maintenance and offer years of trouble free life in the most contaminated environments. The flexible coupling will offer the same torsional rigidity and offset regardless of the rotation direction.

Offered with both set screws and "No Mark" Steel Clamp Bushings. English and metric versions are available. Bore sizes range from 0.125" to 1.25" and 4mm to 32mm. Lattice and servo styles available in both the Super Plastic and all stainless steel versions.
