Flir releases X6900sc high-speed camera

February 11, 2016 - Flir releases X6900sc high-speed camera that captures temperature images at 1000 frames per second. Typical applications include measuring temperatures on fast moving objects, or characterizing the thermal transient of objects as they cool.

The X6900sc is a high-speed Mid Wave Infrared (MWIR) commercial camera with 640x512 resolution.

Features:

  • 640x512 resolution for crisp image
  • 1000 frames per second (fps) to help capture items with ease
  • Full resolution recording to on-camera RAM for up to 26 seconds to make capturing and processing images easier.
  • Automatic filter system with an easy access, four-position motorized wheel

With a sensitivity of less than 20 millikelvins (mK) and accurate temperature readings up to 2000°C, the X6900sc offers the advantages of fast frame rates and superior resolution without compromising sensitivity.
