ISVI releases 12 Megapixel CoaXPress CMOS Camera

September 162015

September 16, 2015 -- ISVI released IC-M12S-CXP, a monochrome 12 Megapixel CMOS camera with a CoaXPress CXP6, DIN-4 interface delivering 181fps.The IC-M12S-CXP is based on the CMOSIS CMV12000 v2 high-sensitivity CMOS sensor.

The size and weight of the camera is 80 x 80 x 36.55mm at 400 grams without lens mount. The housing is extremely compact and robust and uses a sensor positioning design to provide consistently precise sensor alignment. The addition of the LM-Mount to an already large lens mount offering allows integrators to use high-quality Leica-M and Zeiss ZM lenses with this camera.

DSNU/PRNU correction algorithms achieve the best possible image quality while still allowing the user to calibrate the camera according to his own imaging environment. Special attention has also been paid to thermal management to minimize the effects of temperature oscillation on image consistency. User definable ROI (H&V), exposure delay and strobe output delay round out the major features of this high-speed, high-resolution camera.
