MicroControl introduces μMIC.200 programmable controller

August 8, 2016 - MicroControl announced the freely programmable μMIC.200, an automation controller equipped with an ARM controller, which is clocked at a maximum of 1 GHz. On the module are 512 MB RAM and 8 GB of flash memory available, which can be expanded via a microSD slot. Power consumption is a maximum of 4 watts.

The compact automation controller μMIC.200 is 62 mm. The connection of digital signals, CAN bus and RS-232 was carried out using pluggable COMBICON ® Vices. The real-time Linux operating system allows the flexible development of software, the required toolchain located on the Automation Controller.

Features:

  • 2 x Ethernet interface
  • 2 x CAN interface (isolated)
  • 2 x RS-232 (isolated)
  • Cortex-A8 CPU with 1GHz
  • 8 GB of flash and 512 MB DDR3 RAM
  • FRAM memory
  • Memory expansion via microSD card
  • Operating temperature -40 ° C .. + 85 ° C
  • DIN Rail TS35

The communication with the outside world can be done via Ethernet, CAN or serial interfaces, each in duplicate. About USB Additional peripherals can be connected (eg WLAN adapter).

With eight configurable digital inputs / outputs, a relay, four freely controllable LEDs and a real time clock, μMIC.200 can be used for a variety of applications.
