Senix introduces ToughSonic ultrasonic level sensors

April 19, 2016 - Senix introduces ToughSonic ultrasonic level sensors. The ToughSonic REMOTE 30 has a maximum range of 30 feet (9.1 meters) and the ToughSonic REMOTE 50 has a maximum range of 50 feet (15.2 meters).
Both are designed for larger remote tank applications or for mounting on bridges or piers in water level monitoring applications.
The sensors include a digital interface using Modbus serial data or ASCII protocols for direct communication with remote terminal units (RTUs) and other data collection devices. They also feature Senix Lightning Guard, a system that protects power and communications circuits from repeated 7 kilovolt electrical surges.
