Servomex launches SERVOTOUGH Laser 3 Plus laser analyzer range

January 12, 2017 – Servomex has launched the SERVOTOUGH Laser 3 Plus range, a cross-stack Tunable Diode Laser (TDL) gas analyzer which can be specifically optimized for combustion, ammonia slip and process control applications.

The Combustion version is the latest addition to the range and can be optimized for O2, CO, or for a combination of CO and CH4 measurements. The Combustion CO and Combustion CO+CH4 models are a must for safety and control applications in gas-fired, oil-fired and coal-fired processes. They can monitor CO in flue gas to trim oxygen levels and optimize combustion efficiency and safety. The CO+CH4 version will also monitor light-off and running conditions to maximize safety.

The Combustion O2 version is optimized to measure oxygen in flue gas to control oxygen levels and optimize combustion efficiency. It uses up to two absorbance lines to measure oxygen from ambient to 1500oC, utilizing air or nitrogen purge gases.

The Process O2 and CO versions monitor oxygen and carbon monoxide in processes where such monitoring is vital for the safe, efficient and reliable running of the process, and is essential for safety applications. Using Servomex’s own cuvette line lock technology, it offers a solution for safety applications.

Working in gas-fired, oil-fired and coal-fired processes, the emissions control Laser 3 Plus monitors ammonia slip in catalytic or non-catalytic NOX reduction systems, for low measurement ppm applications.

Targeted at gas analysis in the hydrocarbon processing, fired process and power generation market sectors, the Laser 3 Plus is an upgrade of Servomex’s MiniLaser range.
