Tatsoft releases TatSoft Factory Studio v. 16

December 15, 2016 - Tatsoft, a developer of software tools for factory-floor, process control and decision support center applications, announced an update on Tatsoft FactoryStudio, a development platform built completely in the Microsoft .NET Framework, delivering solutions to run on Windows PCs, Windows Compact Framework (Windows CE), Linux Computers, Web browsers, Tablets, Virtual Machines and Smart Devices with iOS or Android environments.
Continuing the steady growth and success in the market, Tatsoft FactoryStudio 2016 extends the concept of the real-time in-memory database used by SCADA and HMI factory-floor tools, to a complete set of business entities able to deliver applications ranging from standalone HMIs to IT Operations Centers, Data Aggregation and real-time Asset Monitoring.

Release 16 provides an Object Browser making selecting graphical objects on the screen easier, Geo-Location integration to visualize real-time Asset information by location, auto-generation of dynamic display from .CSV and .XLS files, trend annotations, enhanced alarms, security and audit-trail, performance enhancements on the built-in data logging, as well on the data integration with OSIsoft PI and cloud databases.

The HTML5/JavaScript display option, in addition to the native iOS and .NET Thin-client technologies, provide flexibility for multiple users. More than 40 communication protocols make the data acquisition effective. New drivers include: Bailey DCS, SNMP, Hart, B&R, Omron and easier interface to automatically load Tags defined at Rockwell ControlLogix, Beckhoff TwinCAT, Schneider UnityPro and Wonderware Intouch. Finally, the FactoryStudio 2016 engineering environment is available in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese.
