August 24, 2010 - Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced that its Control System Solution group successfully completed the control system group audit for the period 2010 – 2013 and retained the Level #1 Certificate from Control System Integrators Association (CSIA). The CSI group has successfully passed the audit securing the score of 373 against the industry benchmark score of 277 for level 1, which is the highest level of certification. This success underlines TCS’ capabilities in delivering control system solutions through best in class processes deployed within the organization. The audit was carried out by mapping TCS processes with respect to CSIA benchmark practices covering following areas: General Management, HR Management, Project Management, Quality Management, Financial Management, Business Development and Technical Management. Mr. Don Roberts, Principal auditor of Exotek LLC, who is the authorized auditors of CSIA was extremely impressed with TCS’ demonstration, and commented stating, “TCS has evolved with and established highly matured business processes which are one of the best in the industry.” CSIA is a not-for-profit, professional association for control system integration companies.
