Beckhoff announces CP72xx Panel PCs
- Beckhoff Automation
CP72xx Panel PCs are designed for simple mounting arm installation and integrate all features required for HMI hardware and advanced PC-based machine control. They come with a 1.5 GHz Intel Celeron M processor as standard and can be optionally equipped with Intel Pentium M processors up to 1.8 GHz.
Beckhoff Automation announces Mini PCI Fieldbus Cards for Industrial PCs
- Beckhoff Automation
Mini PCI fieldbus cards support PROFIBUS, CANopen, DeviceNet and Ethernet networks. The resulting smaller PC size saves valuable control cabinet space, but, like standard PCI fieldbus cards, the interfaces are optimized for fast controllers and real-time tasks.
Beckhoff EtherCAT Terminals work with Profibus, DeviceNet and CANopen
- Beckhoff Automation
EL67xx EtherCAT master and slave terminals provide a direct interface to EtherCAT I/O nodes for all Profibus (EL6731), DeviceNet (EL6752) and CANopen (EL6751) devices. The terminals channel each fieldbus signal type through the EtherCAT protocol with full availability of the respective networks features and functions.
Beckhoff announces stainless steel Industrial Ethernet Switches
- Beckhoff Automation
CU2008 and CU2016 Ethernet switches have a stainless steel/aluminum housing via an integrated DIN rail adapter. The switches relay incoming Ethernet frames to the destination ports. In full duplex mode, they prevent collisions. They can be used universally in automation and office networks.
Beckhoff Automation adds OPC Unified Architecture to control software
- Beckhoff Automation
TwinCAT automation software now conforms to OPC UA (Unified Architecture). The new OPC UA standard is based on TCP communication and is, therefore, platform-independent. The "Unified Architecture" specification creates the basis for new platform-independent communication and information technologies.
Beckhoff announces machine control synchronization software
- Beckhoff Automation
TwinCAT Remote Synchronization library of software function blocks helps users synchronize several multi-axis machines that have TwinCAT control systems. The software allows for general time synchronization of information for distributed control to coordinate multiple machines by calculating offsets to compensate for differences in execution time and CPU clock frequencies.
