The service combines diagnosis, implementation and sustaining services to garner and maintain energy cost savings, enhanced boiler performance efficiency, safety and reliability. It includes a comparison of current performance against benchmarks, existing controls to industry standards, and operating responses to expected capability. Boiler test results, instrumentation, control system performance, and combustion efficiency are analyzed to assess performance and improvement potential. From this data, both a performance benchmark and an actionable improvement plan are generated.
The improvement plan lists associated estimated financial benefit for each recommendation. Once optimization goals have been met, ABB expertise is offered as a renewable service contract to sustain the financial and operational benefits gained through the optimization process.
