This total, as reported by companies participating in the Cutting Tool Market Report (CTMR) collaboration, was down 3.8 percent from August’s total and down 3.1 percent from September 2012. Year-to-date shipments are $1.5 billion, which is down 6.7 percent from the same period in 2012.
