Houston, Texas, September 30, 2004 ABB recently announced that Buddy DeVoe has been appointed Vice President of the North American Oil and Gas segment for ABB's Automation Technology Process Automation Business.DeVoe has over twenty five years experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry and was previously the Vice President of ABB's Lummus Offshore Oil and Gas Business Development. During that time period he was responsible for the award of major projects in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa and Southeast Asia. He also served as the ABB Global Key Account manager for ExxonMobil.In his new role, DeVoe will be responsible for growing ABB's suite of technology, products and solutions in the Upstream and Midstream business sectors of the Oil and Gas industry.
