Aug. 4, 2026 — ABB, the leading NEMA motor manufacturer in North America, awarded scholarships to 12 students for the 2026/2027 academic year. A total of $44,000 was awarded. This initiative supports the educational aspirations of upcoming professionals whose parents or guardians are employed by U.S. ABB Motors and Mechanical.
Funded by the Baldor Electric Company Foundation, the program has invested more than $2 million in over 700 students nationwide since 2010 because when ABB's people thrive, communities grow stronger. Scholarships are open to dependent children of full-time ABB Motors and Mechanical employees.
The recipients of the 2026 ABB Motors and Mechanical Scholarships are:

Applications for the 2027 program open in early December with a deadline in late January.
