Sept. 22, 2008 - ACUSIM Software announced that AcuSolve now supports Microsoft Windows HPC Server 2008, a server operating system designed for the high-performance computing (HPC) market. This announcement gives mainstream computer-aided engineering (CAE) users access to a scalable, accurate, and performance-driven CFD solution in the familiar Windows HPC environment. "Performance, stability, ease of deployment and maintainability are very important to HPC customers," said Vince Mendillo, director of HPC at Microsoft.

The addition of Windows HPC Server 2008 support presents a powerful and scalable solution to Windows-based CAE users from desktops to workgroups.
