July 24, 2019 - Additive Innovation (AI), the future-oriented additive manufacturing company, is now offering production of polyamide 12 (PA 12) thermoplastic parts using HP Jet Fusion technology. It uses data from all popular CAD systems and 3D formats.

The service of the AI specialist enables the users to access new functions. Surface textures from over 5,000 texture patterns are available. The textures open up possibilities, for example for components such as interior trim in automotive design. With the software 4D_Additive these functions can be realized and do not cause additional costs. The technology package of software and hardware enables production of parts.

With the HP Jet Fusion process and the 4D_Additive software provided by Additive Innovation, full-surface fusion of the material layers results in pressure-tight, heavy-duty components with isotropic strength properties, homogeneous surfaces and unique texture patterns that can be installed in industrial products without reworking.

As a special service, Additive Innovation offers the automatic part identification with the software 3D_Evolution Partfinder, which is carried out on the basis of any CAD formats directly at the customer. The components suitable for 3D printing are automatically found and companies can assess the potential of additive manufacturing for their component spectrum.
