The ruggedly constructed 22 mm OD anodized aluminum housing with a 1m 3-conductor cable keeps out dust and permits an LP-22 potentiometer to withstand high shocks (50 gs single hit) and vibration (20 gs). Swivel rod eye ends are standard to facilitate self-alignment during installation. Depending on range, LP-22 series potentiometers are powered with a maximum input of between 12 and 36 Volts DC at 12 mA or less, and their maximum output resistance varies between 1 and 5 kilohms .
