Anybus®-IC DeviceNet™ Chip Solution
Anybus®-IC DeviceNet™ Chip Solution
The Anybus-IC DeviceNet is a very small certified communication interface fitting into a standard DIL-32 chip socket. Anybus-IC is ideal for industrial automation devices where size, connector flexibility and simplicity are the decisive factors. Anybus-IC can be used with various network connectors such as M12 or screw terminals which makes it an easy solution for devices that are used in harsh industrial environments.

The Anybus-IC contains all electronic components and software necessary to implement a DeviceNet adapter interface. Everything is integrated into a single board solution that fits perfectly into a standard DIL32 chip socket consuming only 9 cm² in size. Its designed to work with or without a host microprocessor. It can be inserted into a host product with only a 5 volt 85mA power supply, and a DeviceNet connector is required to achieve instant connection to the DeviceNet network. Combining both the SCI & SSC interfaces this chip can send a total max of 144 bytes input & 144 bytes output data.

In stand alone mode, no external microprocessor is required and the chip can handle up to 16 bytes input and output signals directly. Alternatively, the chip can be connected via a serial connection to any microprocessor and sends up to 128 bytes of Input and 128 bytes Output data.Anybus-IC for DeviceNet is just one member of an interchangeable family supporting Profibus-DP slave, CANopen slave, Profinet slave and a combined EtherNet/ IP adapter/Modbus-TCP slave. Just ONE in-design is required to achieve multiple network connectivity for your industrial device!
