Aport-212 can convert data between Modbus TCP and RTU/ASCII, including up to 16 Modbus TCP masters and 32 Modbus slaves in almost any combination simultaneously.

March 20, 2013 - Artila Electronics announces Aport-212, a two port serial to Ethernet Modbus gateway. Aport-212 provides maximum flexibility to integrate Modbus networks of all type and sizes. Built with 32-bit ARM Cortex M3 processor and real time FreeRTOS, Aport-212 can convert data between Modbus TCP and RTU/ASCII, handling up to 16 Modbus TCP masters and 32 Modbus slaves in almost any combination simultaneously. In addition to Modbus conversion, Aport-212 also supports transparent serial to Ethernet conversion. Therefore it can be served as a conventional S2E device server and DNP Ethernet gateway.

Web-based configuration, TCP console command and serial console are all supported for easy configuration. A Modbus analyzer utility software is also included allowing users easily test and debug Modbus protocol in the field.
