Arun Rajagopal is a passionate industrial cybersecurity expert with a proven track record of providing tailored solutions. He has 25+ years of OT experience in industrial control systems (ICSs) serving the oil and gas, aviation, energy and pharma sectors. Arun’s experience includes driving cybersecurity strategy, developing security programs (cybersecurity management systems), developing cybersecurity business cases, proposing execution roadmaps and engaging with C-level stakeholders. His cybersecurity experience also includes NIS CAF Compliance activities, cybersecurity risk assessments, gap assessments, audits and compliance with IEC 62443 / ISA 99 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. 

Arun has a strong foundation in security by design and product management, and he is a subject matter expert in ICSs, automation, SCADA, distributed control systems (DCSs), emergency shutdown (ESD) systems, fire and gas (F&G) detection systems, and securing critical national infrastructure. In 2026, he was one of the first to receive an IC49 ACSSA for Evaluators badge. He is an ISA Certified Cyber Security Expert and a past president of the ISA UK Section.
