September 28, 2010 – As One Technologies released Catalyst PDC version 2.0. The update features several significant additions to core functionality, all designed to enhance the software’s unique ability to collect and analyze both process and context data within a manufacturing environment. Enhancements include integrated store-and-forward, data compression, data archiving and purging, a new library of Microsoft Excel functions and an enhanced Microsoft Excel add-in for data viewing. Catalyst PDC provides manufacturers with a real-time, context-aware data historian, in addition to a comprehensive data analysis tool.
Catalyst PDC v2.0 also leverages the connectivity available through the Catalyst platform. Data collection solutions are quickly and easily developed using the flexible and feature-rich Catalyst SDP agent libraries. This provides open connectivity to a wide variety of equipment, devices, databases, enterprise systems, and communications and messaging protocols.
