November 29, 2010 - ASCON announces the start of KOMPAS-3D Modelling Contest 2011. All current and potential customers of the company are welcome to send their projects, made in KOMPAS-3D Professional, as well in LT version.The Modelling Contest is yearly held among the enterprises and individuals using KOMPAS-3D. Many of this projects, which could be seen online as 3D models, are successfully used as ready machines, engines and other products in different industries worldwide. This year we accept projects in following nominations:
- The best projects made in KOMPAS-3D in two branches — “Mechanical engineering” and “Industrial and civil engineering”;
- The best professional projects made in KOMPAS-3D (up to 200 parts, from 201 to 999 parts, from 1000 to 4999 parts, over 5000 parts);
- “The most complicated shape” - the best 3D model of parts, developed in KOMPAS-3D with using of surface abilities of the solution;
- The best project made in LT version of KOMPAS-3D.
KOMPAS-3D LT is available for FREE download.To participate in the contest users are welcome to fill the Application Form and send it together with KOMPAS-3D project files or screen till 1st of June 2011.
All companies and individuals, who use KOMPAS-3D V9, V10, V11 and V12, as well as KOMPAS-3D LT are allowed to take part in the competition.
The results and awards to be announced in in June 2011.
Winners of IX KOMPAS-3D Modelling Contest will be awarded with valuable prizes from ASCON and Sponsors of the event (NVIDIA, Arbyte and Cybercom Ltd).
