Ashcroft® Stainless Steel Case Pressure Gauges Offer Superior Durability

Longevity and safety are key features the Dresser Instrument's Ashcroft® 1008 and 1009 stainless steel gauges. The gauges are made for applications where corrosion resistance and reliable operation are critical. Stainless steel gauges ensure long service life in the harshest, most demanding environments. Some features on the Ashcroft® gauges are the PowerFlex™ movement to resist vibration and pulsation, a special pointer indication that highlights safety and convenience, and a stainless steel case for maximum resistance to corrosion. The patent-pending PLUS!

option is also available on this line of Ashcroft gauges where a dry gauge performs like a liquid-filled gauge. The Type1008 comes in case sizes 40mm, 50mm, 63mm and 100mm. The 1009 is available in 2 1/2-inch and 3 1/2-inch case sizes. Because the socket of the 1008S is welded to the case, the gauge is stronger, more durable and resist leakage should liquid-fill be required.

The 40mm and 50mm case sizes feature all-stainless steel construction (case, ring, Bourdon tube and socket) to further battle corrosion. The Type 1009 Duralife® gauge represents another technical breakthrough. Duralife 1009 gauges represent the finest in gauge technology for vibration and pulsation applications. Pressure ranges from vacuum to 15,000 psi, including compound, are available.

Because the socket is welded to the case, the gauge is stronger and more durable. The Duralife 1009 also has True Zero indication. The gauge has no stop pin so you can tell, at a glance, when pressure is truly at zero. An optional external adjust system called the “Easy Zero™” is offered on the 3 1/2” 1009, Easy Zero allows you to re-zero the gauge with a simple turn of a flat-head screwdriver. The Ashcroft® 1008 and 1009 gauges offer many ranges and a variety of choices to meet your sanitary gauge needs.
