September 19, 2006 - Carlisle, Pa- Automation Systems Interconnect, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of their new sensor distribution boxes. The new sensor distribution boxes are available in 4, 6 or 8 ports with or without a molded cable and in both the M8 and M12 connector sizes. The ASI sensor distribution boxes are the ideal solution for reducing installation time and wiring costs while making your system/equipment totally modular. In addition, these boxes can fit in tight spaces and perform in harsh environments.
The distribution boxes come with a molded PUR main cable or one for field wiring directly to the box. The molded cable version is available in standard lengths of 5, 10 or 15 meters. The boxes can be ordered with or without LED indication for PNP or NPN sensors. Although the standard color for the sensor distribution boxes is black, ASI also offers the boxes in green, orange or yellow. ASI also offers a wide selection of sensor cables and connectors for all of your application needs.
