Carlisle, PA - Automation Systems Interconnect, Inc. (ASI), is pleased to announce the release of their new ribbon cable connector interface modules. This new product provides a highly reliable, yet cost effective means of interfacing between sensors and controllers used in industrial control and automation applications. A unique feature of the IMRC modules from ASI is the pluggable terminal blocks. These pluggable blocks facilitate rapid system testing, shorter maintenance downtime and simplify construction when shipping sub-assemblies is required.

Another unique feature of the IMRC modules is the addition of six component holes per circuit. These plated through holes allow end users to easily modify modules by hand soldering electronic components directly to the PCB. Heavy (15 micro-inch) gold plating ensures a reliable connection even in harsh environments. The entire module assembly is mounted either on a DIN rail or directly to a panel. The IMRC modules accept industry standard ribbon cable connectors in sizes from 10 to 64 positions.

All interface modules ship in single piece quantities and are available for immediate shipment.
