March 29, 2013 - Automation Systems Interconnect (ASI) releases Platinum mushroom head industrial switches typically used in e-stop (emergency stop) applications. These switches are available with either a 30mm, 40mm or 60mm operator head. The line of e-stop switches also includes turn key to release, turn to release, and pull to release. The actuator structure is suitable to warrant direct opening operation with mechanical latching for emergency stopping per ISO 13850 and IEC/EN 60947-5-5 These emergency stop switches are ideal for all types of industrial and process control applications as they meet NEMA 4, 4X and IP69K ratings. Up to six contacts can be added and the green line around actuator body indicates when the emergency stop is activated or at rest.
