June 4, 2019 – Averna, a global Test & Quality Solutions provider, announced that, effective as of June 1 2019, François Rainville became President and CEO of the company. Former CEO and President André Gareau has moved to a new position as Executive Chairman of the Board.
André Gareau took the leadership at Averna in June 2012 with Rainville joining shortly after. Under their combined leadership, Averna has grown 300%, building from 3 to now 10 locations worldwide, including offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
Moving forward, Gareau will focus on Averna’s mergers & acquisitions development strategy with Rainville and the leadership team. As the CEO and President of Averna, François Rainville will continue to lead the development, strategy and operations of the company.
A technology entrepreneur, François Rainville started with Averna as VP of Sales & Marketing. In 2017, Rainville became the company’s Chief Operating Officer. With Averna’s leadership team, he has architected and deployed Averna’s corporate strategy bringing continued focus on execution & performance. Rainville will continue to work towards building on the company’s foundation and achievements in this new role.
