October 19, 2016 – The AVEVA World Summit, AVEVA announced a technical partnership with AEGEX Technologies to deliver “LFM Netview” laser scan visualisation and “AVEVA NET” information management solutions on the AEGEX10 Intrinsically Safe Tablet.
Bringing together AVEVA’s portfolio of visualization and Information Management solutions with the AEGEX mobile platform helps enterprises operating in hazardous locations to better and more safely manage their people and assets.
These mobile solutions are designed for the specific needs of owner operators to provide increased efficiency and information accuracy for brownfield capital project execution and asset operations in UL Class I Division 1and ATEX/IECEx Zone 1 environments, where combustible atmospheres require specially certified “intrinsically safe” devices that are designed to be incapable of causing a spark that could ignite an explosion.
