The mini-sized industrial-grade COM Express module has a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and can be applied to portable devices, IoT (Internet of Things) and automation.

December 5, 2014 - Axiomtek announces CEM840 COM Express Type 10 mini module powered by Intel Atom E3800 processors (codename: Bay Trail). Measuring only 84 x 55 mm, the CEM840 comes with onboard 4 GB DDR3L memory, quad core, wide voltage, and up to three times more graphical power, and is designed for the extended temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. The mini-sized industrial-grade COM Express module can be widely applied to portable device, IoT (Internet of Things), automation, transportation, military, security, medical, retail and many more. The rock-solid, low-power and flexible x86 feature set in combination with the small footprint make the new CEM840 a perfect fit for an extremely wide range of ruggedized, graphic-rich applications.

Users will benefit from double the performance, significantly improved performance-per-watt ratios, high quality, and the long-term availability which the rugged new x86 module provide. The energy-saving Computer-on-Modules is designed for serial signaling protocols, including one LPC, four PCIe x1, two SATA-300, one Gigabit Ethernet supporting Wake-on-LAN, eight USB 2.0, one USB 3.0, HD audio, 4-in /out Digital I/O, one LVDS (18/ 24-bit single channel), and one DDI port supporting HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort. To ensure reliability and stability, hardware monitoring and Watchdog Timer are supported.

For evaluation and development purposes, the CEB94008 carrier board is also available upon request.
