December 27, 2016 – Axiomtek, a designer and manufacturer of PC-based industrial computer products, announced the GOT5840T-845, an 8.4” fanless touch panel PC featuring the Intel Celeron N3060 processor. This compact panel PC adopts a SVGA color resolution 800 x 600 TFT LCD display with 350 nits brightness to fit a variety of different human machine interface project needs. Featuring a housing with dust/liquid spillage-proof IP65-rated protection, the GOT5840T-845 is suitable for use in shopping malls and supermarkets as a self-service kiosk or as a human machine interface in factory automation, healthcare facilities, and building automation applications. The GOT5840T-845 offers a resistive touchscreen, as well as an external AT/ATX switch to optimize end-users experience.
This touch panel PC features storage options with SO-DIMM DDR3L-1600 supporting max. up to 8GB. It comes with one RS-232 port, one RS-232/422/485 port, one HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, two Gigabit LAN ports (Intel® i211AT), and one audio (line-out). For wireless network communication options, the GOT5840T-845 offers two full-size PCI Express Mini Card slots and a built-in WLAN antenna.
One of the PCI Express Mini Card slots also supports an mSATA interface to provide an additional storage option while the other PCI Express Mini Card supports a Sim card slot. The 8.4” slim-type SVGA high brightness touch panel system provides two types of power inputs: DC power with a terminal block connector and an AC power adapter with a screw type connector. It supports panel mount, wall mount, VESA arm and desktop stand.
The GOT5840T-845’s Embedded OS support includes Windows® 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7, WE8S or WES7. Advanced Features:
