May 30, 2013 - Axiomtek introduced P1177E-871 (17-inch SXGA) and P1157E-871 (15-inch XGA) industrial panel computers, designed to support the high performance 3rd Generation Intel Core i7, i5 and i3 processors in LGA1155 socket with the Intel C216 chipset. The P1177E-871 and P1157E-871 have reserved two PCIe or two PCI slots to fulfill different application needs.
Built around user-convenience, these all-in-one touch panel computers provide a screw-less chassis design. To withstand harsh operating environments, both units provide protection with aluminum housing and IP65/NEMA 4 sealing and offer reliable performance and quality. With the new Intel HD 4000 graphics engine, Axiomtek’s P1177E-871 and P1157E-871 can easily handle the demands of intensive graphical interfaces or 3D graphics. These high-performing, reliable, and user-friendly touch panel computers are best suited for factory automation, kiosk, and more industrial fields. The P1177E-871 and P1157E-871 offer 2 PCIe x8 or 2 PCI slots for expansion purpose.
User can easily plug in standard half-size PCIe or PCI card for any requirement. Both come with dual display interfaces of DVI-I and HDMI to enable multiple displays which increase the area available for programs running on a single computer system. It not only increases larger screen viewing but also improves the productivity. The P1177E-871 and P1157E-871 feature built-in speakers for kiosk application to display multimedia content program. Both application-ready panel computers also support WLAN module and antenna for wireless network connectivity up to 150Mbps data rate.

The touch panel systems come with two DDR3 SO-DIMM slots with up to 16 GB memory and a 3.5” SATA hard drive bay (or two 2.5” SATA HDD) for efficient operating system and storage.
To fulfill varied application needs, our panel computers reserve four COM ports (2 RS-232, 1 powered RS-232,1 powered RS-232/422/485), four USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, DVI-I, HDMI, and audio (Line-out). Both rugged units can be panel mounted, wall mounted, VESA mounted, or desk mounted.
