The MeterPod, scheduled to be introduced at the October ISA Show in Chicago, replaces analog bag phones that investor-owned utilities will change by September, 2007, according to an FCC sunset ruling. This MeterPod, designed by AxissComm, LLC, is an intelligent, data acquisition controller with cellular and other wireless protocols for remote devices.
