October 20, 2004-Banner's new PresencePLUS P4 vision sensor was selected as a finalist for the 2004 Product Design & Development Engineering awards. The P4 was chosen for this prestigious award as it met the criteria of involving significant engineering and being uniquely qualified to perform the function it was designed to do. The P4 is a completely self-contained vision sensor, not much larger than many traditional photoelectric sensors that performs 360° non-fixtured product inspections.
