May 2, 2012 - Barry-Wehmiller Design Group announced that it is expanding its existing engineering office in Dallas, and planning a new office in the Houston metropolitan area. The firm’s Dallas engineering office, originally launched in 2007, will be expanded to accommodate approximately 30 engineers and project managers, according to Bruce Kuebler, Design Group Partner. “The demand for engineering, automation, and system integration services remains robust, and this office expansion will better position Design Group to serve our clients in Dallas and the surrounding region.” Russell King, Director, will transfer from Design Group’s St. Louis office to further complement the existing leadership team in Dallas.
In addition, Design Group announced that it is hiring engineers and project managers in Houston, in an effort to expand its clients and service offerings throughout Texas and the region. Todd White, senior project manager, has transferred from the Design Group’s St. Louis office to lead these development efforts in Houston. “With these leadership transfers and engineering office expansions, Design Group expects to exceed 50 engineers and project managers based in the state of Texas in the next several years,” stated Kuebler.
“This is a major commitment to our clients in Texas and the surrounding region, bolstered by our total staff of 600 professionals across the US.”
