November 21, 2013 - BCM announces the BC87Q, an industrial ATX motherboard with Intel Q87 Chipset supporting 4th generation Intel Core i7, i5, i3 Haswell processors and 3 independent displays. BCM BC87Q is based on the Intel Haswell desktop CPU platform coupled with the Intel Q87 Express Chipset. The BC87Q motherboard supports 4th generation 22nm Intel Core i7, i5, i3 processors with 3D Tri-Gate transistors providing scalable performance with integrated HD graphics. The BC87Q is designed to provide intelligent processing performance, smart security, remote manageability, and energy efficient computing and is capable to handle rich HD audio video content on multi displays with enhanced security features ideal for digital surveillance and industrial automation applications.
With Intel chipset technology, the BC87Q is able to support 3 independent displays through the combinations of onboard graphic interfaces including dual DisplayPort, VGA, and DVI-D or combined with a graphics card installed in the Gen 3 PCIe x16 slot for up to six independent displays. BC87Q supports dual LAN through Intel Ethernet Controller i210-AT and Intel Ethernet Connection i217-LM with Intel Active Management Technology 9.0 enabling remote management.
The BC87Q provides additional quality and industry-leading I/O technologies including four USB 3.0 with high speed transmission technology, ten USB 2.0, six SATA III (6.0 Gb/s) with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 mode and five COM Ports.
